1)   QUIZ COMPETITION

Age Group: 5 – 8 (Boys & Girls) (01:30PM – 2:15PM)
Topic: Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) Family, Life history
Age Group: 9 – 12 (Boys upto 12 years and Girls upto 10 years) (2:30PM to 3:15PM)
Topic: Islamic Events, History and Prophets
Age Group: 13 – 15 (Boys only) (03:30PM – 4:15PM)
Topic: Islamic Events, History and Prophets

 

Guideline:

1 – Registration to be done online only. No registration for quiz on day of event
2 – Quiz will be conducted on given time, late entries are not allowed.
3 – Quiz will be conducted in 2 rounds for each group.
4 – The prize distribution will take place at the end of the event on 29/11/2024.


 

2)   PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Guideline:

1 – Theme: Fabi ayyi alaa I rabbiku matukazziban (take the pictures of Allah’s neymat)
2 – Participants must be registered online for the children’s festival.
3 – Indian children living in Kuwait between the age of 5 to 15 yeas can participate with the maximum of 5 photos per person.
4 – Only pictures taken in Kuwait are qualigied to enter teh competition.
5 – Photos should be in digital format wihich is not edited (JPEG or PNG) and max of 5MB in size.
6 – Submit the original high-resolution photos by email no later than 15th November 2024
7 – Please name the file as follows: [Child’s Name]_[Title of Photo].
8 – Prize distribution will be on 29/11/2024 at the end of event.


 

 

3)   MODEL MAKING COMPETITION

Guideline:

1 – Size and Dimensions
.    – Max model size: 1×1 meters.
.    – Ensure the model is easy to transport and stable when displayed.

2 – Theme and Concept.
      Choose a relevant “Islamic Theme” that is both engaging and educational for children. Possible Ideas include:
.    – The Five Pillars of Islam.
.    – Prophets in Islam.
.    – Islamic architecture (e.g., the Kaaba, Masjid Al-Nabawi).
.    – Hijri Calendar and Important Islamic Events.
.    – The theme should be “informative”, fostering learning about Islamic values and history.

3 – Materials.
.    – Use “safe and non-toxic materials” that are durable and child-friendly.
.    – Incorporate “eco-friendly or recyclable materials” to promote environmental consciousness.

4 – Visual Appeal and Creativity.
.    – Make the model “visually attractive” using vibrant colors and Islamic motifs (e.g., Arabic calligraphy, geometric patterns).
.    – Include “interactive elements” like movable parts, where possible, to make learning fun and engaging.
.    – Consider using “3D structures” or layered designs to give the model depth and appeal.
5 – Labels and Explanations.
.    – Add “clear labels” for important sections or features of the model.
.    – Prepare a “3-minute explanation” describing the Islamic concept and its significance in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner.
.    – Explain the concept in a “child-friendly tone”, highlighting key values like peace, unity, and respect in Islam.
6 – Islamic Sensitivity.
.    – Ensure that the model reflects “cultural and religious respect”—avoid depicting sacred figures like Prophets.
.    – Focus on “positive and inclusive messages”, fostering a sense of community and understanding.
7 – Time and Effort.
.    – Keep the design “simple yet meaningful” so it can be completed within the available time and engages children effectively.
8 – The prize distribution will take place at the end of the event on 29/11/2024.


 

 

4)   REEL MAKING COMPETITION

Age Group: 5 – 10 (Girls)
Region: Child should be a resident of Kuwait.

 

Guideline:

1 – Topic: “How I will make the Muslim Ummah thrive when I grow up”
.     – Participants must create reels based on the given topic.
.     -Ensure the reel is relevant & creative (e.g., what step will I take in future, how can I support the ummah’s growth and success, how can I make a positive impact, what will be my contributions, how can I ensure brighter future, etc.)
2 – Reel Requirements.
.     – Duration: The reel must be less than 2 minutes long.
   – Format: Reels should be submitted in a vertical video format.
3 – Submission Guidelines.
.     – WhatsApp: The reel can be submitted via WhatsApp to 97281075 / 67671939.
.     – Email: The reel can also be emailed to imachildrencircle@gmail.com.
.     – Submission Deadline: Date of submission is from 01-Nov-2024 to 15-Nov-2024.
4 – Content Guidelines.
.     – Originality: The reel must be the participant’s original creation and not copied.
.     – Language: The spoken language should be English, Hindi or Urdu.
.     – Appropriate Content: Reels must not contain any offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material.
.     – Ensure that all content is respectful and adheres to community guidelines.
5 – Judging Criteria.
.     – Creativity: Unique interpretation of the topic and overall originality.
.     – Relevance to Topic: How closely the reel aligns with the competition’s topic.
.     – ⁠Impact: Emotional or intellectual impact of the reel.
.     – Technical Quality: Video editing, audio clarity, and overall presentation is highly encouraged but not mandatory.
6 – Prizes.
.     – Categories: There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize each for Boys and Girls.
.     – Prize Distribution: Winners will be announced and prize distribution will take place at the Children’s Fest on 29-Nov-2024.
7 – Copyrights & Usage.
.     – Copyright Ownership: The participants retain ownership of their reels but grant the organizing team rights to repost, share, or use the content for promotional purposes.


 

 

5)   ELOCUTION COMPETITION

Topic – Prophet Muhammad: A life of Modesty and sobreity

Age Group : 13 -15 Year Old (Boys) Time: 1:00 pm to 3:30pm
Topic – Prophet Muhammad: A Life of Monumental Success with meagre Resources.

 

Guideline:

1 – Language of Speech will be English.
2 – Time Allotted 4 Mins. 1 min of grace time (No Deduction of points for utilizing the grace time).
3 – Reading from text NOT allowed. However, 1 or 2 chits with SPECIFIC POINTS or SUB HEADINGS ONLY will be allowed.
4 – The Elocution will be rated over
.    i – Knowledge and Understanding of the Topic.
.    ii – Content – Relevance to Topic.
.    iii – Content – Amount and Quality of information on the subject.
.    iv – Delivery / Vocabulary / Pronunciation / Body Language.
.    v – Structuring the Speech (From Start – End).
.    vi – Concluding / Adherence to time limit.
5 – Use of PPTs / Slides and other assisting props NOT Allowed.
6 – The prize distribution will take place at the end of the event on 29/11/2024.


 

 

6)   NAAT/NASHEED COMPETITION

Guideline:

1 – Naat is Praise of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) – In light of Seerah.
2 – To be read Only Urdu / Hindi / English Language.
3 – It must be free from Shirkiyah poetry.
4 – There will be a maximum of five minutes for each participant.
5 – In order to meet above participant can send written Naat to 66057208 WhatsApp Number after registration.

6 – The prize distribution will take place at the end of the event on 29/11/2024.


 

 

7)   CALLIGRAPHY COMPETITION

Guideline:

1 – Students will be provided with a paragraph in English/arabic. They should read, write and submit the written paragraph.
2 – Students should use any of the following writing instruments: Ballpoint pen, fountain pen, gel pen,calligraphy pen, either metal or fiber tip etc(you will have to get your own pens for the competition).
3 – Any style of calligraphy or hand-lettering may be used and should be based on established lettering styles.
4 – Attention should be paid to the overall arrangement of words and lines to ensure balance.

5 – DO NOT use whitener / correction pen.
6 – Prize distribution will be on 29/11/2024 at end of the event.

 

Judging Criteria:

1 – LEGIBILITY (how easily we can read the writing).
2 – FLOW (Correct and smooth strokes).
3 – NEATNESS & GENERAL APPEARANCE (spacing between letters, words, and lines; consistency of letter size and forms; spelling).


 

8)   DRAWING COMPETITION

3 – Participants should bring their own colors pencils/ crayons / sketches/ paints etc.
4 – Duration is 1 hour.

5 – Prize distribution will be on 29/11/2024 at end of the event.


 

9)   AZAN COMPETITION

2 – A panel of judges will evaluate performance on:
.     – Correct pronunciation, tajweed and rhythm.
.     – Clear and audible voice.
.     – Emotional connection and feeling in the recitation.
.     – Adherence to proper Adhan timing.
3 – Prize distribution will be on 29/11/2024 at end of the event.


 

10)   QIRATH (QURAN RECITATION) COMPETITION
